WHAT IS TREAD AS ONE?

Tread as One is an annual fitness challenge organised by Anytime Fitness to help raise vital funds and awareness for R U OK? Set yourself a KM goal to run or walk, set a fundraising goal and you’re ready to lace up those runners and #TreadAsOne!

IS IT FREE?

Yes, it’s free to register for and take part in Tread as One, whether you are an Anytime Fitness member or not.

WHEN AND WHERE IS TREAD AS ONE?

Tread As One 2023 will run from September 30 - October 7. You can participate in your local Anytime Fitness Club or wherever you prefer to run outdoors.

 

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

It’s so simple – all you have to do is set yourself a KM goal that you will run/walk/roll or a bit of everything in the 8 days between September 30 - October 7, set a fundraising goal and start telling everyone you know.

DO I HAVE TO RUN?

No. You can roll, run, jog, walk or do a combination. We suggest you set a goal that will test you but is achievable in the timeframe.

REGISTRATION

HOW DO I JOIN / CREATE A TEAM?

You can search for your local Anytime Fitness and join their team by clicking on the “Join Our Team” button. If you’re not a member or your Club isn’t taking part this year you can still take part as an individual.

 

HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?

Login to your account to access your dashboard. Click on ‘My Account’ and select ‘Reset Password’.

HOW DO I LOG MY KMs ONLINE?

  1. Link your page to a fitness tracker or app

You can link your page to FitBit, mapmyfitness and Strava to automatically sync with your fundraising page and add to youkilometre tracker each time you record an activity.

You can use your smartphone to download FitBit, mapmyfitness or Strava to get started. After creating an account with your preferred app, login to your Tread As One account and head to the ‘My Fitness Activity’ tab to connect to your fitness app.

Please allow 24 hours for your activity to show up on your fundraising page.

  1. Log your KMs manually

To log kilometres manually, simply login to your online fundraising page and head to the ‘My Fitness Activity’ to record your activity.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET TO LOG MY KMs?

Any of the KMs you complete using your fitness app will be synced directly to your fundraising page. If you forget to log your KMs, you can go back and login manually through your fundraising page. Just ensure you don’t double it up!

IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM DISTANCE?

Nope, you set the bar. We recommend you pick a distance that will challenge you but still be achievable in 8 days.

WHERE DO THE FUNDS THAT I RAISE GO?

By fundraising for R U OK? every dollar you raise and every step you take will help them empower more people to connect and support those who may be struggling with life. Your efforts will help show Australia the life-changing power of a conversation.

HOW DO I UPDATE MY FUNDRAISING GOAL?

If you smash your fundraising goal ahead of schedule, why not raise the bar even higher? Login to your account and head to your dashboard. Click on ‘Edit my page’ and update your fundraising goal.

HOW DO I SHARE MY FUNDRAISING PAGE?

You can share your page via Twitter, Facebook and email. Just copy your link to send it in a way of your choice.

ARE DONATIONS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

All donations made in Australia over $2 are tax-deductible.

Your supporters will receive their tax receipt along with a confirmation email when they donate.
