R U OK?'s vision is a world where we're all connected and protected from suicide. 

Their mission is to inspire and empower people to meaningfully connect and lend support to the people in their world who may be struggling with life.

I believe in their mission and will be running as far as I can and raising as much money and awareness as possible for this cause that’s close to my heart.

I’d really appreciate your support – every donation helps.

Your donation will help inspire people to take the time to ask "are you OK?" and listen, which can help people struggling with life feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Day 8

Saturday 22nd May
Today I drove down to Unley and did my last 1hr there. 
Thank you to Anytime Fitness unley for having me.

Total of 121 kms in 8 days, I did a last minute 2km walk near hone to make sure I hit the 120kms.

Day 7

Saturday 22nd May
Second last day of the tread as one and I am feeling proud to have taken part.
I am heading down to Anytime Fitness in Unley SA for the final day.
I am going to aim to log a final total kms of 120km, currently at 106km.

Day 6

Thursday 20th May
My mind has been going crazy today, work, gym, constantly thinking about my friend and those that struggle with mental health. 

Feeling a little overwhelmed by it all. 
It’s ok to have low days I tell myself and tomorrow is a new day to improve on today.
I’ve lately been training at the gym to help my fitness but my mental health as well. I’m more focused on setting my self up to deal with the low days better.

It’s ok to ask for help.
Tread as one 💪

Day 5

Thursday 20th May
Today I made the decision to go the extra mile. 
After my gym workout I jumped on the treadmill for 1 hr.
Pushing a little further in my support for the R U OK Tread as one.




Day 4

Tuesday 18th May
Huge effort today for day 4 of the R U OK Tread as one..

I did a total of 16.4km (just over 20,091 steps) 💪

Day 3

Monday 17th May
Had a great walk with a fellow gym member this morning. 
I’d put it out there to see if anyone wanted to do an hr with me during the tread as one.

Thank you Miranda, the walk and chat was great. 
Was good to talk about the R U Ok and how mental health has effected both our life’s.

Total kms for me today was 13.7km.

Day 2

Monday 17th May
Today marks the first birthday without my good friend Matty.

My heart goes out to his family, I am thinking of you and remembering the good times.

I walk because I care (14kms today).

It’s ok to ask for help, it’s also ok to offer help.

We are all in this together.
