I’m taking part in Tread as One to raise funds and awareness for R U OK?

Every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their lives – that gives me 65,000 reasons to Tread As One.

R U OK?'s vision is a world where we're all connected and protected from suicide. 

Their mission is to inspire and empower people to meaningfully connect and lend support to the people in their world who may be struggling with life.

I believe in their mission and will be running as far as I can and raising as much money and awareness as possible for this cause that’s close to my heart.

Not sure if people have seen me starting my running journey, but I seen the challenge for the Tread as one at the gym and wanted to be apart of it. I want to help fundraise and give myself a goal to finish 5-6 km a day if it’s walking/running/jogging, I want to do this as a goal for myself and as a way to help spread awareness on the large amount of people within Australia attempt such thing. Raising awareness will hopefully spread support within the community and help those who are struggling.  
Everyone needs support in their life no matter the circumstances or the people around them, let’s be here for everyone and spread compassion and joy to all. Xx
